On Purpose.
We provide services (y servicios) in diverse of areas that interact with government and the community, however, they generally fall into these categories.
Can you relate to these scenarios? We may have a solution,
Land Use & Real Estate Transactions
You own - or plan to acquire - an asset and are thinking about ground-up development or a change of use. This may require a rezoning or simply taking into consideration the needs and preferences of the surrounding community. In either case, before you sink hundreds of thousands of dollars into pre-development activities, let us due diligence your project, help you understand community dynamics and identify political risk.
Working collaboratively with your land use attorney, environmental review consultants and design team, we will develop a community & political engagement strategy to support you in securing a variety of entitlements.
You’re in a crisis moment with your neighbors and community leaders, or you just want to get to know them better. You don’t know who they are and/or don’t know how to reach them. Case-in-point, you feel stuck and need help getting your story heard and vision adopted.
We will provide you with a map of the stakeholders that can - or should - support your work and implement strategies to gain the acclaim of local leaders and government officials.
Government & Community Relations
Public Policy & Legislative Analysis
Whether you operate maritime logistics, energy transmission or storage, a chamber of commerce or a workforce development organization, you are likely impacted by the policies, legislation or budget decisions happening at City Hall and the State Capital. It’s usually what you don’t know that hurts you the most.
We will provide you with insight and analysis that helps you adapt to these changes or, better yet, we will develop and implement strategies to fight back.
Gov’t Funding & Procurement
You just learned about a new funding program and you would like access to it, or an RFP has been released for service you are an expert in providing. You may even have a solution that government doesn’t even know it needs.
We will keep you informed as these opportunities arise and get you in front of the right people with tailor-made message that differentiates you from competitors. We’ll also build a coalition of supporters who will advocate for your selection.
Fail to reach communities that speak español to your own detriment. Translation services typically lack the context to interpret real estate, urban planning and public policy concepts. We speak technical Spanish and can help you reach the nearly Spanish speakers in NYC, who make up approximately 20% of the city’s population.
Research conducted by the NALEO Education Fund, leveraging the 2020 U.S. Census data, shows that “Between 2010 and 2020, New York’s population grew from 19.4 million to 20.2 million, an increase of 4.2%. During the same period, the state’s Latino population grew from 3.4 million to 3.9 million, an increase of 15.5%. By comparison, the non-Latino population of the state increased by only 1.8%. The increase in New York’s Latino population accounted for nearly two-thirds (64.5%) of the state’s population growth during the past decade.”
